Early 2000's, while living at the Seaton House, with an active crack addiction. I attempted to create a technology Community Economic Development program, at a local Day Shelter. We/I was approached by CAMH, to do the first Drug Treatment Court website in Canada. I was great to exploit, being a homeless veteran, on crack, trying to create websites for local charities, while teaching others. But when I got nabbed for my drug of choice, CAMH said I didn't fit their "Drug Treatment Program", when I asked to enter. So I finished their website, left Toronto, and never returned. Nothing but corrupt institutions, non-profits, charities and advocates.
Feb. 5th, 2021. My link no longer brings up the website, "tdtc.ca". Instead, the link was redirected to " https://www.camh.ca ".
Though I haven't brought up any civil or charter litigation, as of yet. My small win, far exceeds any monetary value, to me. It encompasses the whole province of BC, to make sure those suffering any mental health issues, aren't ill diagnosed by physicians. "All Physicians must take a seminar, on how to administer the Mental Health Act, properly & legally".
You wouldn't believe, how many mental health workers, do not understand the Mental Health Act, let alone doctors.
I'll have the whole case documents available soon. But the CPS File # is there.
Mid-Nineties, homeless and heavily addicted to crack. Somehow I had the time to volunteer my heart out, at this place.
I started with teaching computer skills, then moved on to maintaining & upgrading their systems. I took the background out of their logo, before there was a wand. I helped with the creation, publishing & maintaining, of their first website.
Joe & Steph were all about optics, and who & what would help them further their own selfish agendas. When paid employment positions became available. I was left back to the streets, and free tech support for them.
